The Costa del Sol in southern Spain is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe.

All of our properties are situated to the west of Malaga, where you have the lively resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, La Cala and Calahonda. All are within easy reach of Malaga International Airport.

With its beautiful coastline and well maintained beaches, over 320 days of sunshine each year with average annual temperatures of 18 C it’s possible to enjoy the beautiful beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities all year round.

The alternative name for the Costa del Sol is the Costa del Golf because there are over 70 superb golf courses to choose from.

For the more active you might like to try a boat trip, horse riding, mountain biking, quad bikes, scuba diving, a theme park, water sports or bullfights. All are available in the locality.

There are so many restaurants and bars to choose from, with plenty of nightlife in the resorts of Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola.

Beautiful Beaches

The beautiful beaches at Torreblanca, Los Boliches and Carvajal have all been awarded the prestigious EU blue flag.

Malaga's Picasso Museum

Malaga - with the new Picasso Museum and the city's historic sights. The new gallery is located in the historic city centre and surrounded by the beautiful Cathedral, Gibralfaro Castle, an Arabian Fortress “Alcazaba”, a Roman Theatre, and the Plaza de la Merced, Picasso’s birthplace.

 

Aquapark Fuengirola

If you or your children are water babes then you will love the aquapark in Fuengirola - an oasis for fun.

 

 

Mijas Pueblo

Traditional white villages such as Mijas Pueblo. This beautiful little village sits over 400 metres above sea level with spectacular views down to the sea and all along the Costa del Sol. The craft shops have some wonderful hand made pottery, jewellery, and paintings and prints by acclaimed local artists. Donkeys are still the official village taxi and you can get a donkey taxi ride from the Town Hall through the village.

 

Fuengirola Zoo

Fuengirola zoo is noted as one of the finest in Europe, with its creation of natural habitats and plenty of space for the animals. A fabulous day out for young and old alike, with plenty of shady spots in the zoo grounds on a hot summer day.

 

Tivoli World

Tivoli World theme park in Aroyo de la Miel, Benalmadena has something for everyone. For a leisurely day out the park has wonderful gardens, fountains and walkways, with numerous bars and restaurants. There are several free shows each day and if you want some real thrills, you can try one of over 30 fun rides on offer.

 

Selwo Marina

Selwo Marina at Benalmadena features a Dolphinarium, sea lions, penguins, exhibitions and shows. A wonderful day out for all the family.

 

Horse Racing

If you enjoy horse racing, why not spend a day or a night at the races on the coast's only racing course? Located just a few kilometres outside Fuengirola, there is horse racing every Sunday from October to May. Summertime schedule races are on Saturdays evenings.

 

Benalmadena Sea Life Centre

Fancy diving beneath the sea without getting wet? You’ll come eyeball to eyeball with everything from shrimps to sharks, and learn lots from the Sea Life experts. Enjoy the interactive area, touch and learn. Walk through the amazing ocean tunnel full of sharks, sting ray and green turtle.

 

Teleferico Cable Car, Benalmadena

Take a ride in a cable car travelling 2600 metres to the peak of Mount Calamorro which is 800 metres above sea level. The base station and parking for the cable car are next to Tivoli World amusement park.

There are spectacular views of the Costa del Sol and the Mediterranean Sea and on a clear day you can see the African coast. For the serious walker there are various marked walks at the summit, and for those inclined you can buy a one-way ticket and then mountain bike or walk back down!!

At the summit you can watch an exhibition of birds of prey, with falcons, eagles, vultures and owls soaring in perfect freedom. There is also an arena where you can see a demonstration of Spanish horse training and dressage. The shows take place twice a day.

 

Gibraltar, Ronda and much much more

For those wanting to explore the wider region there are many attractions a little further afield that can be easily reached by car, train or organised day trips, including the stunning historic town of Ronda, the rock of Gibraltar and the magnificent city of Granada with its spectacular Alhambra Palace. For those who like to ski, the Sierra Nevada mountain range is also within driving distance.
